Miranda Mapping and Mobilizing originated in Washington, DC as a political consulting firm built around bold, data-backed experimentation and authentic community engagement.
Founded to challenge an industry that too often relies on familiar playbooks, the firm brings creative, vision-centered thinking to campaigns, advocacy organizations, and community initiatives. Our approach combines data, communications, coalition-building, and a deep understanding of the people and places behind the numbers.
Now based on Florida’s Suncoast, Mapping and Mobilizing is bringing experience from national, state, and local work directly into communities. We take big-picture strategy down to the precinct level, using local data, relationships, and on-the-ground knowledge to understand what communities need, identify opportunities for engagement, and build strategies rooted in the places they are designed to serve.
Matti Miranda
Matti Miranda is a seasoned strategist and campaigner with over a decade of experience leading political, advocacy, and communications efforts across the country. With a background in physics and mathematics, Matti brings a uniquely analytical and systems-driven approach to grassroots organizing, coalition-building, and digital strategy.
She has held leadership roles at organizations including the Progressive Policy Institute and New Leaders Council, where she built nationwide training programs, launched first-time digital campaigns, and managed multi-entity operations across c3s, c4s, PACs, and for-profits. Her work has spanned everything from local housing initiatives to national economic policy—always grounded in practical problem-solving and scalable impact.
Half beach bum, half city girl, all Peruvian, Matti prioritizes time with her family and furry companions, soaking up the outdoors, and reading anything she can get in print.
She is currently based in Sarasota, Florida, and is passionate about building a more just, participatory, and effective democracy.
